HANGOVER BAY

Public BBQ

Hangover Bay sits inside Nambung National Park, a short sealed-road drive from the highway. The beach features white powdery sand and crystal clear water, making it popular for swimming and snorkelling. The bay is wide enough for lap swimming, particularly during the second half of the year when conditions are best. Facilities include well-maintained toilets and BBQ areas with seating. There's ample parking space for caravans and larger vehicles. The setting is peaceful and scenic, ideal for a quiet stopover or relaxed beach day. While it's not heavily developed, the basic amenities make it comfortable for visitors. Some seasonal seaweed washes up along the shore. The location feels remote and quiet, with minimal crowds. Wildflowers appear in certain months for those who look for them. The surrounding natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere make it worth the detour for anyone travelling the WA coast.
